The Lake Property Owners’ Association is an Illinois not-for-profit corporation and the sole organization charged with managing the PRIVATE lake of Lake Zurich. The LPOA manages the health and safety of the lake through various activities throughout the year, including contracting with the LZ Police Department for enforcement of State and Local safety laws.
The LPOA gives members an organizational voice in various issues surrounding the maintenance and operations of our private lake. A well managed and ecologically sound lake increases property values and is the showcase of our community.
The LPOA is comprised solely of legal lake bottom owners that volunteer their time and talents to maintain a safe and viable lake. Obviously that can’t be done without resources. All – 100% of the funds gathered from membership, boat stickers, and fund-raisers are poured right back into keeping the lake healthy and safe, protecting property values, and the landmark of our community.
